Craig Thompson Artist Bio

I’m a Utah-based artist with a background in fine art and graphic design, and a career rooted in sales, marketing, and storytelling. I studied Fine Art at Southern Utah University and spend much of my time learning how people connect with ideas, objects, and with each other.

I’ve always been drawn to the balance between creativity and practicality. In a world that moves fast and lives mostly on screens, I’m pulled toward things that are slower, imperfect, and real. River stones, shaped quietly over time, felt like the perfect place to explore that contrast.

Gift³Stone grew out of that mindset. Each piece begins with a natural stone and is finished by hand, one at a time. Every stone is numbered in the order it’s made because sequence matters… early pieces carry history, and every stone has a place in the larger story.

When I’m not creating, you’ll usually find me golfing, hiking, taking long walks, or heading out on a road trip, always curious, always exploring.
